Not only is this a fantastic cookbook on all the pressure canning basics, it's a very entertaining read as well! It really took me back to my mom's and grandmother's canning practices and has made me confident that I can pressure can too! The book is well put together, with beautiful pictures easy-to-follow recipes. I also really enjoyed Ms. Gomes' stories that are sprinkled throughout. The book is structured so that whether you are a beginning, intermediate or advanced pressure canner there are recommendations for which recipes to try. Highly recommend!
