I decided to clean and organize my pantry and purchased this set for dry goods storage. They're not airtight, but are definitely better than just leaving dry goods in their original packaging. The lids fit well, but the flip part of the lids take a bit of finesse to make sure they snap in place tightly. I think that after a few uses they will get easier to snap closed. The design of these containers allow you to store them with the narrow side facing out, saving valuable pantry space. Considering the price point on this set, I think they are a good solution for my needs, I would buy them again.
