---FINAL UPDATE March 2025:The battery finally died March 1st after roughly 20 months on a single charge in a refrigerator for the entire time. The light turned on with motion roughly 2,000 times and had a total "on" time of roughly 19.5 hours (see how I got those numbers in the update from Nov 2024). The light was noticeably dimmer around mid January and it took on a yellowish color in mid February (instead of the "cool" white I had it set to).If you are using these lights for the motion setting, you have absolutely nothing to worry about with regards to how long they will last. However, if you have them set to be on all the time then they will probably only last about a day if you are lucky. Personally, I think that's the wrong way to use these lights though. There are better options for always-on lights. These are definitely meant for shorter periods of activity, either set with motion detection or perhaps using the colors to add atmosphere or mood to a situation.As I said in my earlier reviews, I have no complaints whatsoever and quite literally couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you need motion activated lights, 100% get these.---UPDATE Nov 2024:It's been about a year since my original review (see below) and about 16 months since I bought these lights. The motion activated light in my mini fridge is still on the original charge from 16 months ago. Estimating the light turning on 3 or 4 times per day or roughly 100 times a month, that's roughly 1,600 times the light has come on, without fail, on a single charge.To be fair, the light only stays on for about 30 seconds after it stops detecting motion so estimating 35 seconds of "on" time each time the fridge was opened (a few seconds to grab something then the 30 seconds after no motion detected) only puts it at about 15.5 hours of "on" time. However, that is extremely impressive to me considering it hasn't been charged in 16 months and is stored in a cold environment which typically hurts battery life. Still no issues with the adhesive plates for the magnets either.I very rarely bother to review anything but it felt necessary for this product. I was impressed a year ago when I first reviewed it but now I'm blown away. There is no possible way for me to be happier with this product. I'm very curious to see how long this one battery charge lasts and will update again when it finally dies.---Original Review from Nov 2023:I bought these lights because a cheap mini fridge I bought didn't have a light inside. I mounted one of the lights to the ceiling of the fridge, close to the door, set to come on with motion. Because of the ledge at the top of the fridge's door, simply opening the door triggers the motion detector and the light comes on providing the perfect amount of light for my little 2.6 cu ft refrigerator. I used the included adhesive metal plates to attach the light since it has built in magnets.I fully charged the light before installing and 4 months later I have not had to recharge the light yet. I open the fridge on average 3 or 4 times every single day and have done that for 4 months. That's at least 400 times that the light has come on and all on a single charge. On top of that, it's inside of a roughly 42F fridge and batteries don't really perform as well when cold but it's still going strong anyway. The adhesive has been strong and problem free as well, even with the cold environment and taking the full weight of the light since it's mounted on the ceiling.Even if it dies tomorrow and needs a recharge, I have zero complaints about battery life. The option of choosing any color you want is nice too, however I just use mine on a "cool" white setting. These lights have far exceeded my expectations and are well worth the money in my opinion. I'm currently only using one of the two lights that came in the pack but if I found a use for more of these I would buy these again without hesitation.
