Doopa Under Cabinet LED Motion Sensor Cabinet Light (7000K)5/12/2023 Day 2 ImpressionsThis includes instructions, a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge it with, and four metal plates with adhesive on one side if you need to install it in a spot that isn't magnetic. It is reasonably light weight, and has a ridge to keep the metal plates it comes with in place once magnetized.The metal plates with adhesive were easy enough to install, and I left them stuck without the light attached for ~12 hours before I put the light up. It's easy to place and remove once the stickers are installed. There are enough of these for 2 installations, so I installed them above the cutting board on the underside of my top cabinet, and also inside a cabinet.The brightness sensor keeps it unlit when the cabinet door is closed, and the movement sensor immediately turns it on when the door opens. The automatic sensor is a bit too easy to trigger when I have it above the cutting board, so I think I might just use the switch there - it does turn off automatically and on when there's motion, but it detects motion on both sides of the counter, and I only need the light on one.It's variable dimmable, not just one or two settings, you press and hold and it cycles from brightest to darkest then press and hold again to go from darkest to brightest and you can let go at the setting you want. The brightest setting is really bright. I find the dimmest setting good enough, so I'll probably leave it there most of the time to extend how long I can use it before charging.Overall it's working well, and I expect that to continue. I'll update with any changes from long term use.
