I read the amazon reviews before I buy things; I did as well for the shelves before I bought rhem.I'm often dubious of the reviews, they sometimes dont match the product with a description, but the amount of great reviews for these shelves was amazing..like others have said, a little pricey, but solid and sturdy, holds lots! the see through on the fronts helpful to see as the shelves (boxes) are deep and large one suggestion..there is two clear small pockets on both sides of the top two shelf boxes, why not add two more for four pockets per side? I use the side pockets for eyeliner, mascara, nailfiles and such...i liked these shelves so much and even though bit overpriced, i expect they will last a long time, serve its purpose well and looks great!
