I was not able to find replacement lids for my "pop up release" containers and decided to try these instead. I really like them. The shape is nice, unlike large square containers, you don't need both hands to carry them. The seal is especially nice. The side latches secure the covers. Unlike white plastic lids, which yellow over time, the clear lids are a nice plus.I bought a set of these, and have been buying single containers to add to my set. The sizes vary so I wanted more of the larger ones. They are air tight and crystal clear for viewing the contents. They are a little pricey but I still recommend them.Rubbermaid products are great. This product is awesome. Stackable. Clean looking. Tight seals. This line of products is all we use in our kitchen and pantry.I use these food containers for so many things. Baking supplies, dog food, and leftovers. I will probably be buying more of the large size to use for pre-cooked pastas to have on hand. I love that they stack so easily and don’t take up much room but hold a good amount of food. Airtight, leakproof and easy to clean and dishwasher safe!LoveGreat for Brown Sugar. I also thought it would be slightly bigger although that's entirely on me since the measurements given are accurate.That being said, I use it to store flour and it does a good job of it too. The lid closes air tight so I would imagine if flour bugs are a thing in your house this would keep them out.This is an excellent flour container and I would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for the price that I find a little steep for what it is. I know, no one forced it on me and it's not like the price was a secret. It could be that I'm just a cheap bloke, but I needed a flour container and they all seem pretty expensive to me for what they are.I love this container!! I use a lot of brown sugar in my tea and am constantly having to buy more or hack off pieces because it goes solid so quickly! Since buying this container, that problem has vanished!! I have had it for a few weeks now and my brown sugar is just as soft as the day I bought it! It is perfectly airtight and easy to use, the snaps on the side are not that hard to get off, which is nice because I have arthritis in my hands. And my brown sugar is perfect, which is really all I wanted when I bought this container. It also looks really nice which definitely doesn't hurt. Very happy with my purchase and will probably buy a few more for flour and white sugar.I have been looking for a good solution for brown sugar storage for years. I bake a lot, and so I have brown sugar on hand all the time. Having it dry out was a constant frustration. I tried all methods out there, some were better than others. But there were none that were even close to how good this one is. I have had it for 8 months now, and never once has my brown sugar even gone close to being dry. It's the best storage system out there. The price put me off at first, so I held off on purchasing it. But it's worth every penny. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.I like this and after reading and comparing with others I agree with the generally positive reviews. If I had my utopia I would have made it a flip top lid so that I can open it with one hand operation and not need to put the lid anywhere, but the one that had this feature was smaller than this and I wanted this size or bigger for holding my flour. If you go through a lot of flour then you may want the one that is one size bigger. I got that one for rice and I would have gotten all three in the big size in retrospect. Still, no serious complaints and I hope they last a long time. A nice added touch may have been a sheet of labels of common food items.Using this to house bread flour. It has a very good seal on the lid. However for the container itself, I feel that if it were to be dropped, it would easily crack or shatter. I was a bit surprised at how thin the plastic is, considering the price. I mainly needed a container with an excellent seal so I am still happy with this purchase; I will just have to be very careful with it.
